đź’Ą Aggression Anakin Budget Deck

Star Wars Unlimited TCG

Welcome back TCG Squad! Today we have an exciting deck that I think is a lot of fun. Today we are showcasing Anakin Skywalker!

Don’t underestimate the power of Aggression Anakin! This deck is all about pushing damage to your opponent's base and racing them to victory—classic aggro style. Setting you back $47 bucks, this is a perfect deck to showcase Anakin’s power.

Let’s quickly refresh your memory on Anakin.

On his leader side, Anakin’s ability lets you exhaust him to deal 2 damage to your own base. Then you can attack with a unit, and if it’s attacking another unit, it gets +2/0 for that attack.

When you hit 6 resources, Anakin flips into his leader unit form: a 4/7 with Overwhelm and a passive ability that buffs his attack by 1 for every 5 damage on your base. So by the time you deploy him, he usually has about 7 power, which is huge.

TIPS AND TRICKS

"Let’s talk strategy with Aggression Anakin:

  • Use Anakin’s leader ability strategically to pick off low-health leaders or deal with big threats. Timing is key.

  • The K-2SO + Heroic Sacrifice combo? It’s pure gold.

  • A-Wing and Twice the Pride are great for slamming large chunks of damage into your opponent’s base.

  • Freedom Fighters is probably your MVP. It’s only 3 resources, and its ability deals 1 damage to your opponent’s base every time you play a red card. And guess what? The entire deck is red. You’ll be racking up the ping damage fast.

  • Lastly, save Anakin’s deployment until you’re ready to play Wrecker. Trust me, they’re a dynamic duo.

EARLY GAME STRATEGY

Let’s break down the early game step by step:

Turn 1
Start by playing Benthic Two Tubes and either Soldier of the 501st or a cheap flier like Green Squadron A-Wing or Anakin’s Interceptor.

Turn 2
Attack with Benthic first to trigger his ability, buffing Soldier of the 501st. That combo hits your opponent’s base for 6 damage! After attacking, drop Freedom Fighters to start setting up your ping damage engine.

Turn 3
Rinse and repeat with Benthic and Soldier of the 501st. With Freedom Fighters in play, focus on playing red cards to trigger that 1 damage per play. Drop a 2-cost unit like A-Wing, then use Twice the Pride on Freedom Fighters. That triggers another ping, and with all your attacks combined, you’re dishing out 15 damage this turn for a total of 21 by the end of Turn 3. Aggro heaven!

Turn 4
By now, your opponent will probably take out the upgraded Freedom Fighters, and that’s fine—you’re already in a winning position. If their base is at 25 health, use Heroic Sacrifice to seal the deal. If it’s at 30, just attack with everything you’ve got. If you’ve resourced Cassian, this is a great time to bring him out for the finishing blow.

Turn 5 and Beyond
If the game isn’t over by Turn 4, you’ll flip Anakin and lean into late-game plays. Use cards like Clan Challengers and Keep Fighting to maintain pressure. Deploy Anakin with Wrecker to clear threats and close out the game.

So that’s Aggression Anakin in action—a deck that’s fast, relentless, and just plain fun. Thank you for spending time with us, and may the Force be with you!
