Maul Upgrades – New Final Form!

If you picked up the Legends of the Force Maul spotlight deck, you might’ve noticed something strange…

It looks aggressive.
It feels aggressive.
But it kinda… fizzles out.

Why? Because the starter list is missing key synergy, powerful threats, and win conditions. So we rebuilt it—not once, but three times.

🔻 Tier 1: The MSRP Deck

Cool flavor, weak finishers.
Cards like Drain Essence, Witch of the Mist, and Strikeship feel off-theme. No XP synergy. No real top-end threat.

You’re swinging a red lightsaber—without the crystal.

💸 Tier 2: Budget Upgrade (~$35 Total)

We cut:

• Drain Essence, Strikeship, Thralls, Savage Opress, and more

We added:

• Force Throw, Power of the Dark Side, Kylo Ren, Secretive Sage, Emperor Palpatine

Now we’ve got a tight curve, better XP generation, and sideboard options like Force Lightning and Ruthless Raider.

It plays fast. It plays smart. It finally feels like a Maul deck.

🔥 Tier 3: The New Ultimate Upgrade (~$150)

Just added to the final form:

• Devastating Gunship (2) — pressure from the skies

• Anakin Skywalker | Champion of Mortis (3) — enormous threat

• Rival’s Fall (1) — flexible removal

• Oggdo Bogdo (now 3x) — consistent tempo

• Devastator (2) — finishes games

• Sidious is now sideboard-only

This version is leaner, meaner, and built for tournament tables.
