STOP Wasting Money on Expensive Decks, Try This Instead!

Welcome back to TCG HQ! Today, we’re diving into a deck that’s taking over the Twilight of the Republic meta—none other than Jango Fett! If you’ve been missing Boba’s space dominance, don’t worry—Jango is here to claim the throne with unmatched air superiority. This budget-friendly deck is just $35 and brings a ton of fun while remaining tournament-ready with a few upgrades.

Also, stay tuned for our next video where we’ll explore the upgrades to take this deck to the next level. Let’s jump into it!

Jango Fett is a cunning leader with a fantastic ability: ‘When a friendly unit deals damage to an enemy unit, you may exhaust this leader. If you do, exhaust that enemy unit.’

This gives you incredible control over your opponent’s board, allowing you to push damage through and race them to victory. On his leader unit side, Jango keeps the same ability, which can be triggered multiple times for even greater impact.

This deck’s goal is straightforward: use Jango’s ability to exhaust your opponent’s units, establish a strong space presence, and leverage powerful events to close out games. Now, let’s talk about some key tips and tricks to get the most out of this deck.

TIPS AND TRICKS
To maximize this deck’s potential, keep these combos in mind:

  • ISB Agent: Pair with Tarkin Town early to take out your opponent’s turn one plays. It’s a simple but powerful way to establish board control.

  • Tarkin Town Timing: Use this early rather than holding onto it—you want to gain tempo immediately.

  • Event Synergy: Cards like Surprise Strike and Breaking In are excellent for pushing damage or bypassing Sentinel units.

  • Control Events: No Good to Me Dead, Swoop Down, and Force Choke are critical for dealing with aggressive leaders like Sabine and Asajj. Use them to keep your opponent’s pressure in check.

  • Finishers: Triple Dark Raid into Ruthless Raiders or Fett’s Firespray provides an explosive endgame option."

EARLY GAME STRATEGY
Let’s break down the early game step-by-step:

  • Turn 1: Play Greedo or Death Star Stormtrooper if you have Surprise Strike in hand. Follow up with ISB Agent to deal damage, then take out your opponent’s unit with Tarkin Town.

  • Turn 2: Use Surprise Strike to hit your opponent’s base for 6 damage, followed by an attack from ISB Agent for a total of 7 damage. If your opponent plays a tanky unit, Force Choke comes in handy here. Otherwise, focus on building your space presence.

  • Turn 3: With 4 resources, hit the base with Greedo or DST, then attack with ISB Agent. If you’ve kept board control, play Lurking Tie Phantom and a 1-cost event like Daring Raid to deal another 6 damage. That’s 12 damage total for this phase. Against aggressive leaders like Sabine or Asajj, save resources for Force Choke, Swoop Down, or No Good to Me Dead.

  • Turn 4: Deploy Jango! Play Surprise Strike and attack with Lurking Tie Phantom, hitting the base for 7 damage. Use ISB Agent to attack an opponent’s unit and trigger Jango’s ability to exhaust them. Then play Triple Dark Raid, pulling Elite P-38 Starfighter or another key unit. Attack with Jango and the Starfighter for a total of 13 damage this phase.

  • Turn 5: At this point, it’s time to finish the game. Attack with your remaining units to close things out. If your opponent somehow survives, deploy Ruthless Raiders or Fett’s Firespray to end it.

That’s the Jango Tarkin Town Space deck! It’s an absolute blast to play and a perfect choice for anyone new to Star Wars Unlimited or looking for a competitive budget deck.
